2013 Porsche 911 Club Coupe

2013 Porsche 911 Club Coupe

The first Porsche was built in 1948 and the first Porsche Club was established just four years later: a group of seven Porsche drivers founded the Westfälischer Porsche Club Hohensyburg, now known as the Porsche Club Westfalen e. V., on 26 May 1952. That same year saw the formation of a second Porsche Club with six members initially - the Porsche Club Berlin e. V. The movement took off and there are now 640 official Porsche Clubs in 75 countries with a total of approximately 181,000 members. They are all enthusiastic about the Porsche brand and are part of a unique Porsche family. (continued below)

911 Club Coupe Celebrates 60 Years of Porsche Clubs

Source: Porsche | Published: Mon May 28, 2012

(continued from above)

To mark the 60th anniversary, something very special has been planned. In honor of the 13 founding Porsche Club members and all Porsche Club members worldwide, Porsche Community Management has teamed up with Porsche Exclusive to create an exceptional vehicle: the 911 Club Coupe.

And because this 911 honoring the founding of the first Clubs is so rare, only very few Club members will be privileged to acquire it. Only 12 Club members will have the opportunity, through a lottery, to acquire one 911 Club Coupe each. One vehicle will remain at Porsche to honor the Porsche Club World.

Exterior Design

The design of the 911 Club Coupe, based on the 911 Carrera S Coupe, illustrates a high degree of individuality. This is particularly emphasized by the classic exterior color "Brewster Green"" from the special range of Porsche individual colors. The selected "Brewster Green" is a tribute to the typical color of the Porsche family cars. An effective contrast is made by the trim strips in a high gloss finish.

Corresponding to the trim strip is the lettering "911 Club Coupe" in a decorative film on the doors (analogue 911 Carrera GTS). The standard Sport Design Package, consisting of a distinctive front with front spoiler and a rear spoiler is derived from the classical "duck tail". This emphasizes the sportiness from every point of view.

Interior Design

The interior is characterized with full natural leather in Espresso with stitching in Luxor Beige.

Here as well, the classic sportive character is continued in line with the exterior design. Accents such as the air vents including louvers or the seat backrests of the Sports Seats Plus with natural leather in Espresso and a decorative stitching in Luxor Beige illustrate the craftsmanship and attention to detail from Porsche Exclusive. The aluminum interior package, consisting of the door entry guards as well as the switch panel trim and the PDK gear selector, everything made of brushed, anodized aluminum, create a contrast to the dark brown natural leather.

Developed specifically for the 911 Club Coupe, the switch panel trim strip is fitted with a personalized laser engraving "911 Club Coupe - personally built for" and the name of the client. Further unique highlights are the leather key pouch in Espresso with stitching in Luxor beige and embossed lettering "911 Club Coupe" as well as the illuminated door entry guards painted in Brewster Green with an inlay made of brushed stainless steel. Here, too, the inscription "911 Club Coupe" in white light appears, tuned to the light Design and Highlights atmosphere of the interior. The anniversary logo "60 Years of Porsche Clubs" is implemented unlit on the door entry guards.
